Culture in decline

Daily Pickings recommended an RT interview with Zeitgeist founder, Peter Joseph, a couple of weeks ago. He's produced a series of half hour videos called Culture in Decline and Parts 1 and 2 are worth watching. Part one deals with the illusion of global democracy while part 2 covers economics.

Hat tip to Ken for this

Joseph's style of delivery won't be to everyone's taste but the message he delivers and the clarity of his analysis are excellent, corroborating much of our work in the Critical Thinking project.

Whether the rest of the series live up to the standard of Parts 1 and 2 remains to be seen.

One of the challenges, for those seeking to change the world, is to raise awareness of the root causes of the many problems in the world. Different styles and means of communicating are needed to reach different people. Some need rigorous academic papers while others need something much more accessible and easy to digest. These two videos are just that although Joseph covers a lot of detail, as well as big concepts, in half an hour and one can learn much by watching them more than once.
