Frankie Boyle funny and interesting – premise: try things out – how much can one shock. Santa goes round the world to apologise to the children of the third world. David Perry – Bradbury as a performance. Not as Extremist as the name suggests. Moon landings. Newsbud – three way conversations: Sibel Edmonds – Balkans; the war against Iran has started. Kurds are being used by NATO. Kurds are the way into Iran. Situation is so fluid.

2. Art is not the artist expressing themselves – providing tools/images to think differently. Albers devoted 60 years to the concept of the squares – to bring conversation or do something.

3. Evidence of hierarchy – Near Stonehenge 3000BC mass graves with no evidence of hierarcy but arrival of the bekers heralded the transition for hierarchy – Burial site 2600BC with suggestion of hierarchy. Onset of the “flood” commerce – we are vessels floating in the sea of commerce, governed by maritime law. Why is evidence of non-hierarchy in pre-literate times important? Are we competitive or cooperative by nature. The political economy makes us competitive but is it our natural predisposition?
